Job Title: Quality Assurance Social Worker

Location: Queens, NY

Schedule: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Social Worker/Quality Assurance Specialist to support an Older Adult Centers (OAC) Information and Assistance program. This role combines direct client support with quality assurance and program administration, helping ensure that older adults in Queens receive the highest standard of service and care.

Responsibilities:

Social Work Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of Information and Assistance clients in-person for Queens OACs.
  • Conduct outreach and educational activities in the community and at centers to increase awareness of available services.
  • Notify the Program Director of Information and Assistance of any high-risk or emergency client situations.
  • Provide program coverage at Older Adult Centers when Case Managers are unavailable or on extended leave.
  • Participate in ongoing professional trainings and meetings to enhance skills and maintain compliance with city-funded requirements.

Quality Assurance Duties:

  • Monitor and analyze program statistics using the client electronic record system.
  • Review and sign off on Case Manager notes and Information and Assistance logs.
  • Prepare and submit reports to funders as needed.
  • Support and co-facilitate monthly Case Manager staff meetings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with older adults or in community-based social services preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet program deadlines.
